Accessibility statement
Last updated 10 October 2026
We want everyone to be able to find our menus, book a table and get to us easily. This statement covers azzurro.ie.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We’ve checked the site ourselves against these guidelines, using a keyboard, a screen reader and automated checks.
What we’ve done
- Our full menus — à la carte, set menu and Bambini — are written out as real text, so they work with screen readers, zoom and translation tools. The printed menu images are also available as a backup.
- Every à la carte dish lists its allergens in words for screen readers, not just as numbers.
- You can use the whole site with a keyboard, and there’s a “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
- Text and buttons are designed for strong colour contrast against the dark background.
- Pages work when zoomed to 200% and on small screens.
- The rotating reviews can be paused, and moved forward or back with buttons.
- If you’ve asked your device to reduce motion, the moving sea background, reviews rotation and page animations are switched off.
- Photos have text descriptions; purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
Known limitations
- Booking, takeaway and voucher pages are run by TablePath and Touch Takeaway. We don’t control those sites, and they may not meet the same standard. If you have any difficulty, ring us on 051 383 141 and we’ll book or take your order by phone.
- The printed menu images are images of text. Please use the text menus on our Menus page instead.
At the restaurant
If you have access needs for your visit — seating, step-free routes, or help reading the menu — please ring us before you come and we’ll do our best to help.
Feedback
If something on this site doesn’t work for you, or you need information in a different format, please tell us. Email info@azzurro.ie or call 051 383 141. We aim to reply within five working days.
